who
are we?
We are an independent Enterprise
Agency, which has helped local people to set up co-operatives and other
forms of democratic business for 18 years.
what
do we do?
If you want advice, training
and support to set up a worker co-operative, community owned enterprise
or credit union we can help you. We can also provide assistance to employee
buy-outs. Most of our services are free and all are confidential.
We work to encourage all
forms of community economic development; and we aim to provide a realistic
and sustainable approach to developing the local economy. There are
over 80 co-operatives and credit unions associated with the CDA in Leicester
and the County.

help to buy out their employer when faced with redundancy or closure

to start a credit union
- people starting a new
